Eve Gomez is a speaker, platform founder, and global advocate with over 30 years of grassroots leadership experience rooted in service, community, and an unshakeable faith that drives everything she does. She is the founder of Ethereal Lifestyle and creator of Ethereal Women of Power and Ethereal Latinas of Power — platforms dedicated to elevating women through visibility, leadership, and global connection.

She is also the owner of EG Spanish Interpreting, LLC, bringing over 20 years of professional experience bridging language and culture — giving her a unique perspective on communication, advocacy, and the power of voice that informs every platform she builds.

"Her work is not a career — it is a calling. Every platform she has built, every community she has served, every child she has fed has been an answer to that call."

As CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Ethereal Lifestyle Magazine, radio personality on WLTH AM1370, NLP-certified life coach, podcast host and storyteller of Real Talk With E.V.E., author, and speaker, Eve's decades of community activism in Gary, Illinois have expanded into a global reach spanning the United States and Mexico. Her work with the most vulnerable — victims of domestic violence, trafficking survivors, underserved children, and rural communities — is the through-line connecting every platform she has ever built.

Eve's guiding principle is simple: "When you see a need, fill it." After more than 30 years of sowing into communities, families, and children, she believes this is her season to harvest — and she is bringing every voice she has ever amplified along for the journey.

Because It Was Right

Eve Gomez has never shared this work publicly — not because she was hiding it, but because that was never the point. She saw needs. She filled them. What follows is the first public account of her humanitarian work in Chiapas, Mexico: wells, seeds, children, and a community transformed by one woman's faith in action.

The Well

A Village That Had
No Water

During drought season, an entire village in Chiapas had no access to clean water. No water for drinking. No water for farming. No water for the children. Eve heard about the need and did what she always does — she answered it.

She funded and facilitated the drilling and construction of a water well that now provides clean water to the entire village year-round. What once threatened the health and survival of a community is no longer a crisis — it is a solved problem.

"No water, no health." — The reality that moved Eve to act. The well is her answer.

The inauguration of the well was a community celebration — attended by local leaders, families, and children whose futures were changed by clean water. A ribbon was cut with the colors of Mexico. The village gave thanks. Eve moved on to the next need.

The drilling crew brought in to build the well that now serves an entire Chiapas village year-round. Every meter drilled was a step toward dignity for an entire community.

Seeds & Sustainability

Teaching a Village
to Feed Itself

Eve did not just bring water — she brought seeds, instructors, and the knowledge to build lasting food independence. She organized community garden programs that taught local families, and especially children, how to plant and grow their own food. She fed families. She bought shoes for children so they could get to school.

The children of Chiapas now know how to plant carrots, radishes, squash, and more — because one woman believed that a community's dignity is found in its ability to sustain itself, not its dependency on charity.

Also the Work

Building a well, planting seeds, feeding families — these are acts of love. And love, when it is real, also celebrates. The community celebrated with mariachi, food, and the joy of people who now know they are not forgotten.

Eve celebrates with them — not as a donor at arm's length, but as a member of the community she has come to love and serve. That presence, that relationship, is what makes her philanthropy different. It is not a check. It is a commitment.
